This album really doesn't pick up until the fifth track. Or maybe I just really like the Voivod influence on this.
Edit: I fall asleep better to metal than to anything mellow, actually.

I love to fall asleep to DevilDriver. Something about beastly drumming makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and sleepy inside haha

New Immolation was very good the first way through, but not omg jizz near classic like many are making it out to be atm. Obviously I'll give it a lot more listens though, before making a final verdict.

I've got their Close To A World Below album too, but that's it. Haven't got anything else by them at this point. A mistake I'm going to fix over time.

close to a world below is their best imo, one if my favourite dm albums ever. at the least pick up Dawn Of Possession, Here In After, Failures For Gods and Unholy Cult. Can't really go wrong with any of their albums really
