Man, I got to start watching Sports Tonight again. Foxtel has sort of rendered that show useless for me of late since they have a constantly running Sports News channel.



The one I remember from late last year is when I think an AFL match had a camera-shot from the top of the grandstand looking out over whatever city centre it was. Blaring loudly in the background was Lostprophets with "Standing on the rooftops, everybody scream your hearrrrrrrrt out".

Hahaha... I didn't think you could lie your way through that one... Although, stop the presses, here come the Kaiser Chiefs (what the hell are they doing on 'So You Think You Can Dance'?). As per my review of their new album, it's going to very much depend on what song they sing. Please not the new single... Please!

While I have foxtel Billy, believe it or not but High Def has yet to hit the DaveyBoy household! I'm behind the times, but hanging out for the 23rd time the Government & tv networks change their mind on this topic.



Yeah Ross, I'm unsure everyone feels that way & fair enough if people actually prefer a more cohesive album as opposed to a few standouts, but I still think you can have it both ways (see: Thrice's 'Vheissu' & Muse's 'Absolution' as good examples of that).

Oh come on gents, the Kaiser Chiefs aren't that bad. They actually went with 'Never Miss A Beat', but it was so clearly lip-synched that it was rather off-putting.

Haha yeah I do, but saying that I happen to love the two examples you give, so far that I gave Vheissu a 5 and regard it as one of my favorite albums. Yeah I can see how this is bad timing for you, are you just coming to England or are you doing a more European experience tour? As for my reviews, I looked back on that application and realised 3 of the reviews I chose were really quite recent (by my standards), I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I think every 'live' performance (musical) that i have seen on SYTYCD has been lip synced / Metro station on Aus Idol was attrocious lip syncing.

As for Metro Station, surely them lip-synching would have been better than them trying to do anything live!

Sorry Ross, I missed your post; 3 nights in London & then doing a 4 week tour of mainland Europe (all the countries you'd expect really... as far south as Greece). Then another 3 nights in London to recover.

Any chance you get to see muse in england or are they still in recording hiatus?

4 weeks in Europe, sounds like you'll have a blast. If your in Spain (I guess you will be) I can't recommend Barcelona enough, it is an exquisite city and the beaches are damn good for being so close to a population hub. Also if you get a chance to watch the football team play thats something you shouldn't pass up, even if your not much of a footie fan.
