Is that good or bad?

I don't think they're trying to be rasp
Um why wouldn't they be, I don't think any type of music tries to be dull.
Rasputin, this complaint of unstimulating music is coming from you, a professed lover of funeral doom???
Same thing, funeral doom isn't unstimulating, it's just music expressed in a particular way, and if it's done right then it can be very stimulating. If it's not, then it's boring.

Most of the songs after 'Here We Are' felt a little stagnant over a few listens, but once I got used to not much happening in them they were just as enjoyable as the rest of the album.

I see what you mean, Rasputin. I was mainly just being sarcastic with my comment, anyway. I don't agree with your assessment though ;)
Most of the songs after 'Here We Are' felt a little stagnant over a few listens, but once I got used to not much happening in them they were just as enjoyable as the rest of the album. I think Lene Marlin's music works best when she's placed front-and-center without a whole lot of extra stuff to cloud her voice. Her singing is really the main draw to her music, plus the overall feel which is kind of different for something labeled "pop".
