Just heard some of this, Leona Lewis is better therefore X Factor > Australian Idol and yeah I could extrapolate from there.
|
| |
Guy Sebastian, Damien Leith, Lisa Mitchell, Axel Whitehead and Wes Carr > Leona Lewis.
Therefore, Australian Idol > X Factor.
|
| |
so yeah um...
see the bombers fly up??
|

Guy Sebastian, Damien Leith, Lisa Mitchell, Axel Whitehead and Wes Carr > Leona Lewis.
Therefore, Australian Idol > X Factor.
Ahh fuck you.
|

Shut up, Betty. We're actually talking about music for once, I'm sick of all the Australians taking over threads with inane sports bullshit.
|
| |
Ahh fuck you.
Suck on my minge
|
| |
ok then, i shall contribute to the conversation.
Idol has contributed a few good things to music i must admit, Lisa Mitchell and Bobby Flynn being the two best. But there's also some absolute shockers like that chick who completly destroyed Themata and all that Young Divas bullshit.
PS: Zaharakis is magic like stars.

Oh man, I remember Bobby Flynn. That man kicked arse.
And there's always going to be cheese amidst a talent show crowd, but that's simply to be expected. People really need to get over their prejudices, like "Oh I can't like anything that's on Idol, it's bullshit mannnnn"
|
| |
Personally I think the whole "Idol" thing has gone too far. The fact the success' of the "Idol's" led to shit such as Britain/America's Got Talent is my proof.
Edit: Also everyone knows that the only worthwhile parts of these shows is the early rounds with people who think they can sing being told that they can't.

Bullshit. Talent shows like this have been around for decades, they haven't really gone "too far" since then.
We're not exactly talking American Dreamz here.
|
| |
Ehh think what you want, that was my two cents...also what is American Dreamz?

Fair points concerning Idol, which I really cannot argue with Jake. As you say, Mauboy has worked pretty hard though, and at her age that is a good sign.
Cam, I am not a ro... MALFUNCTION... MALFUNCTION.
What do you mean "was" the only friendly person here Caleb? Have I turned bad and missed it? Darn.
Hey Ross, I still haven't heard Leona Lewis' album. She definitely has some talent, although I think she may have been one out of the box. Why the hell she went on X-Factor is beyond me.
I think what DavID & the others are trying to say is that (especially with Aus Idol), there is some talent to be found lower down the pecking order. Many of the contestants who finish between 6th & 10th are fairly talented, but don't end up winning because the sheep oting are looking for the next Kylie Minogue.
And Billy, I second what DavID said: SHUT-UP, no talking about sport right now. I beg you.
