I gave this a 3.5 because the songs on here that I do enjoy, I REALLY enjoy. On top of that, next to every beat on this album is fantastic. Whatever you think of the man himself, this is head and shoulders above Encore.

you shouldnt rate things in comparison to other albums. You should rate them on a (personally) unbiased enjoyment level.

I think, him putting out an album regarding his true feelings now, would be the best bet. Beautiful is so awesome, I just wish he took that concept and stretched it out, instead of trying to amuse a dying crowd.
