Yeah this is rough around the edges but there's a certain honesty to this that I haven't really gotten since. It's like a cathartic rehab-fueled trip. The best songs are the most blunt about Em's addiction and how he felt.

I know basically Em's whole discog. Relapse is the best post-TES Em album. Recovery's got too many dumb hooks and feels too sanitized. main highlights are No Love, Almost Famous, and Not Afraid (mostly because I have nostalgia for it).

I can’t stand TES nowadays tbh it’s got so much corny nonsense on it and the highs on the album aren’t nearly good enough to carry nonsense like Puke, Ass like that etc.
I’d rather listen to this which has a few good songs and a lot of mid or recovery which has a few even better songs and a lot of mid.
