Haha, you're asking the wrong guy. The only thing that sounds good to me is blink-182.
I rate albums based on the quality of the songs; so even though I don't actually like or keep a song, I can still tell that it's still a quality track.

Yes a 5of5 rating. I have never given an album(or even a song) that high of a rating before, but this one deserves it. As the followup to Mutiny!(who's flowing first4 tracks were undeniably great) they had some serious expectations to live up to. I think they did that, and more. Mutiny!'s only real downfalls were the slowed down-half step popbreakdowns(i know thats not a real word!) and they fixed that.
The vocals are amazing as usual, actually maybe even a bit better. They seem to find that range between yell and sing a little more. The guest vocals were pretty badass, even IF they overpowered a bit. I think that was partially their intent. Hayley Williams especially stood out as far as the guest vox went.
The guitar work was stepped up quite a bit, and many parts of the album got really heavy for SYG.
Now the lyrical content, which was completely overlooked in the review, was pretty much gold. Look Closer calls for people to OPEN THEIR EYES and question what they are doing rather than just floating through life in the paths that society draws for us. Like You To Me traces relationships between people&how important they can be. The Fallen is completely about their shit with Eulogy Records & their problems with it, but without bitching about it. The Few that Remain is totally about Sticking to your guns no matter what.
Gaia Bleeds(my favorite!) is the highlight lyrically. Brings up the issues of Humans playing god, and failing at it. "killing like we're allowed" "everythings Ending" They are telling that we are all responsible for our worlds destruction, and soon there will be nothing left.
This band came back after mutiny! with a bang. This whole album evokes thought, but at the same time is good for just a quick fun listen. Fan's of Mutiny have not been dissapointed.
SYG kicks ass.

Bumped this record recently for the first time in a while and it was still a solid listen. Our Ethos, Gaia Bleeds, and The Fallen... ftw.
