I guess his fifteen minutes of fame are long gone. Well, at least he left before anyone really got attached to him.

He didn't actually play on the album. He played very few gigs.
Scoff is a great song, and you plegarized your review.
Meh, GJ anyway.

So in reality that would mean he really didn't get much more than fifteen minutes.
|
| |
Indeed. He shelled out the $600 bucks that the band needed to record the album. That's why Kurt put him in the credits.
|
| |
Those cheap bastards - I love it. He couldn't have been that good if he got fired so quickly anyway. And I think it's safe to say their career wasn't hurting from it.
|
| |
Kurt didn't really like his attitude so he got rid of him quickly. He was, however a hot guitarist in the area.
I'm such a Nirvana nerd.
|
| |
Indeed. You make fellow Nirvana nerds like me pale in comparison.
He must've insisted on tuning guitars before using them. That would piss Kurt off.
|
| |
Kurt said that the guitarists he was fond of were like guys from Scratch Acid...
F**ked up, bending strings, borderline in tune, that kind of chaos
:thumb: That shit was so unpredictable. Kurt's ( as well as all of the grunge movement) not caringness reaction to things was quite enjoyable. He should've played a song with a tissue box with rubber bands wrapped around it. I wouldn't put it past him either.

Foo Fighters > Nirvana
|
| |
I believe Kurt hired him to play live because he didn't think he could sing and play at the same time well enough, but underestimated himself, so he no longer needed him.
Everman was a much better guitarist than him.

^^^^^^ That's what I had always thought as well. But I wasn't entirely sure ans wanted to strike up a conversation anyway.

I'm a bass player, and I must say that Love Buzz is my favourite song Nirvana song when it comes to playing. It's so much more complex and diverse than most other Nirvana songs, and it is also quite demanding without the tabs in front of you. It took me months of practice before I could play it by heart.
Bleach is also my favourite Nirvana album. Every track is a grunge/garage-rock/whateveryouwannacallit classic. Fantastic stuff.
I could agree that Nevermind and In Utero are better quality albums with production and such, but Bleach is the best. Final answer.
And to the guy who said Mr. Moustache was hard: I agree that the timing and flow is a problem, but practice makes perfect, you just gotta work on it and it'll be A-OK.This Message Edited On 09.06.05
