their early stuff has its moments but they only really started coming into their own on chiastic slide i think

I find them to be fantastically consistent in terms of LPs for the most part, early material or otherwise. But their early material is dated in that has a very distinct 90's electronic aspect to it so I can totally see why some would like the earlier material a lot less than their (significantly more experimental) later output, but I usually dig that sort of stuff so I don't mind.

yeah don't get me wrong garbage, lp5, amber and other shit is great but quaristice, untilted, confield, and exai trump most of their 90s material

i listened to confield for about 5 minutes on youtube once and it was probably the most boring thing i've ever heard. thats just me though. I guess electronica aint really my thing.
