Welcome to the Jungle is the best two guitar work I've ever heard, that rythm just rocks so hard
I think Slash has been consistently brilliant on only two albums: Appetite For Destruction and Contraband.
And thats why I love Grateful Dead.

ya i would agree but "use your ullusion" was very brilliant guitar work from slash, civil war would be an example of that talent

Very good review. The only thing I thing differently from you is that I do like Anything Goes more then you do, and I think you probably should've metioned Izzy somewhere, as you metioned everybody else, considering he's the real backbone of the band. Otherwise, great review.

yeh, a metion of izzy would be good, as he wrote the majority of the songs and was to me by far the most talented songwriter out of the band. great album and review

Ive heard the three biggies off here, Jungle, Paradise and Child O Mine, and all are representative of the good Guns And Roses. Too bad they went on to kill hair metal.

How can someone kill hair metal? The genre died at birth....

GnR were hard rock more than hair metal. Better than anything the genre put out, too.

Im just saying that Hair Metal is terrible, and GNR got thrown into it. And they killed it. They deserve a medal.

The Big Three are the best songs on here. All of the other songs fail in comparison.

Oh, I thought they were considered different from the likes of Quiet Riot, Posion and Motley Crue.

GnR wasn't really hair metal... GnR is more rockish and if you listen to songs they sing about differnt stuff than Hair Metal bands

i really really really really really dislike these guys. While the frontmen are okay, the rhythm section is completely terrible. And slash is amazing and only really shows his talent on SCoM
