Cartoons and Macreme Wounds have quickly jumped into my top-10 songs of the year. Such a beautiful sound the entire way through. Vaccines is a pretty solid cut, too.

This is jaw dropping stuff! I love it although it may hamper my productivity as I sit at work pretending to be busy! Got to love the art of delegation!

Everyone seems to have a different favorite song which shows how great the whole album is. For me, Sometimes life Isn't Easy is the most complete work of perfection (The refrain has the most heartfelt melody I've heard in a long time). Introducing Palace Players and Silas aren't far behind.

Yotimi: I couldn't agree more with you on that one. My favorite song of the year, followed by Palace Players and Silas. Interesting to see all the different perspectives of this and find that most people all have a different favorite song.

I've never heard anything by these guys so I went to their myspace and listened to Introducing Palace Players. I've probably listened to it a few dozen times in the past 2 days, it's impossible to get out of my head haha. The other stuff I heard from the album from myspace/youtube is really good as well. I think I'm going to get Frengers then this, though.

I don't think I've ever heard guitar work like that on Palace Players. During the verses, the way the notes bend all over the place, with random effects throwing random low notes seemingly out of tune but still sounding amazing.

This was a shock, to be honest. I thought I'd like it, but no where near this much. Does anyone else see similarities between the song new terrain and most of animal collective's songs?

I get more of a rockier "Like Spinning Plates" from Radiohead vibe. Apparently if the song is played backwards there is another song called Nervous. Anyone know where I can get a download of that?

I had meant to ask someone about that same thing. So to answer your question, no, obviously not, haha.
