I hope they still have the creativity to pen another great album, cause though they pulled it off perfectly the whole "each song will be a homage to someone" reeks of lack of ideas. Speaking of which, Chac Mool is probably not about Dimebag but about mexican not--so-good prog band Chac Mool.
And if anyone is interested, Rodrigo and Gabriela were once in a metal band called Tierra Acida.

This is shit hot. Might even grow to a 4.5 in time.

Some of the stuff these two do on this one are mind blowing without any trace of wankery.

Exceptional album; even better than their previous one.
|
| |
i took my mom to see them for mothers day cause she likes them a lot and it was so boring lol
|
| |
its just 2 ppl jerkin each other off with acoustic guitars
if u ask me. but hey at least theyre good at it
|
| |
that's basically it
i don't get why this site shits all over btbam like WOW ITS JUST POINTLESS TECH WANK THIS IS SHIT but then people seem to love this
|
| |
btbam have some rly good songwriting at points, basically when they arent JUST wanking (colors)
|
| |
I haven't heard this but if it's just two acoustic guys wanking then it's probably not as annoying as a whole band wanking with electronic instruments
|
| |
its not really annoying its just pretty boring and sounds like theyre playing the same 20-30 seconds or so over and over again for every song
|
| |
Well it's probably also because Btbam are a very popular band and they have a shitty fanbase who says that they're "the pink floyd of our generation"
but yea i guess I won't be czeching this then
|
| |
I dig this. :]
|
| |
smh
|
| |
s/t is better tho.
|
| |
what appeal do you see in this other than just having your face smashed in via never ending guitar notes

Great melodies and awesome rhythms. A fair number of good riffs too.
