No, I'm comparing him to Adema's vocalist and somehow this guy sounds like an even bigger pussy.

I agree with Willie, Ben sounds like he's forcing it too much in a lot of the choruses

I wil have to respectfully disagree with the both of you. I don't find him whiny at all. Nor weak for that matter. Oh well, to each their own.

Nah, he's not whiny. Its just a lot of times it seems like he is forcing hooks into the songs with his voice that may not even be there to begin with.

Its better than Three Days Grace, but Red and Chevelle beat it.

No argument there, except Life Starts Now wasn't that bad.

Of those other bands you are mentioning, I have only heard RED... & it's definitely better than this.

That reminds me that I should give 'Innocence & Instinct' a more detailed listen & do a sound-off, because I think it's good enough to make my 2009 Top 20.

You should give Chevelle's new album a spin Davey, it's... lets say pleasant to the ears and could very well make your top 20 list

Yeah, I love Innocence & Instinct. Great bonus tracks as well.

Yeah, I should LG. You know what's scary? Chevelle sound right up my alley and yet I've never really stopped to give them a proper listen. Funnily enough, they are like Breaking Benjamin in that they are basically unknown down under. Weird.

Don't mention those bonus tracks GK, I still have no idea how they did not make the album proper.

Its really ridiculous. The fact that "Forever" is their second single just adds to it. I don't really hear of too many bands that release a bonus track as a single...

I've only heard the album not the bonus tracks, but if you both think they should've made the album. I might just have to track them down.

Agreed GK. It's almost an admission of an error in a way. Maybe it was timing issues or something.

Definitely worth hunting down LG. We are talking about RED btw.

GK, LG, god Davey what's with the abbreviations Davey?

Good review, this doesn't seem to appealing so i'll pass. Do get Chevelle though, it was really decent.

Better than decent actually. Chevelle are great at what they do. I still like that band.

It's late down under MA... I get brief when I'm tired.

Thanks... & thanks for the reco. I may just have to if the man into the style of metal liked it.

If Hurt (sadly) falls into mainstream rock after their last release, I think they easily take the cake for me in 2009
