Zipper, you may be right on 'Without You' as a song title.

romsgom, can you actually see if it is the most used full stop?

Like Gregory, I was also going to suggest 'Hold On'.

Poet, the orchestration at the end of the album in isolation is just good to me. What makes it more effective is the minute or so before-hand where there is hardly a second where Burnley isn't rollicking along in an anthemic fashion. I think that is what indirectly makes the orchestration so good, if that makes sense.

Thanks Bandido.

Davey that was an admirable amount of responding right there. And I just typed it into iTunes search and saw which got more hits. Which, now that you mention it, is Hold On.

The way I look at it romulous is people take the time to write, then I'll take the time to write back... If I have the time of course.

I now have 'Hold On' by Slaughter stuck in my head. Now there's a band that could get eggs thrown at me. I think I might review their entire discography just for the funnies! ;-)

I've never heard Breaking Benjamin on the radio around here. Maybe once or twice on an "Alt-Rock" station in Kansas City, but as far as pop/rock stations in general, they aren't played here.

what what?
kansas city?

I wasn't expecting you to like it that much Shell. It seems your highlight tracks do not at all match mine though. I find 'Fade Away' the weakest on the album. It doesn't do a bad job as an opener I guess, but it's nothing special in isolation.

'Give Me A sign' stood out to me on the first listen, but then it just faded off into the background a little. Good solid song though. That & 'Anthem of the Angels' are the 2 closest songs to ballads. I still think 1 of them should have been stripped right down.

As for writing a review, it might be worth a shot. Except I would probably recommend beginning with an album that you know inside out rather than a new release. That should make you feel more comfortable with your opinions, etc...

I don't get what all of you are complaining about? Breaking Benjamin is a really good band and although this album is not ground breaking or much different from their others...they deliver the music that their fans love...so whats there to complain about? If you don't like them then don't listen. For the fans..like myself..this is exactly what I wanted/expected and I'm happy they delivered it. I wouldnt have wanted them to change things up because that's not what I love about them. They're good at making these songs. If i want something different i'll go and listen to another band...

MentalityOfA, you have lost me. Am I using words that are too long for you? Should I be laughing?

Welcome to the site lostaholic. I think most people here actually agree with you. I know I do for the most part and that's what I was getting at with that summary. The thing is, there are different extents to providing fans with what they want. For example, I love a few songs Breaking Benjamin have done acoustically in the past. But there is no acoustic song on this album. That has the flow-on effect of a lack of differentiation. Songs tend to sound too similar. I have still rated the album a 3/5, which means good. But a few things here & there and it could have been great.
