no where near as great as is this it? but still great. this album is criticised way too much for being too much like its predecessor however i still think its awesome, and in my opinion is better than FIOE. cant get over the riff in "whatever happened?" one of my favourite riffs of all time.  strokes rule

first time through you'll think all the songs sound the same- listen to the whole album a few times and you'll find that it rises to the top of the list.

i think only Is This It, and FOPE are worth listening to, don't get me wrong, people like ROF, but Is This It, is way better than there last two albums. Strokes were geniuses on their first album, last two lag it.

much better listened to on the way to somewhere- some social event or some party. this album is the strokes' best within their genre/style, but Is This It is definitely better and more charming outside of it.

I got this first so I'm probably biased, there isn't much difference in quality or sound between the two.
I'm really excited for the new one after hearing a few songs off it.
