Following a promising EP & the excellent debut LP 'Fix Me', Canadian pop-punkers Marianas Trench return with their 2nd full-length release 'Masterpiece Theatre'. As the title suggests, this is a concept album of sorts with 3 title tracks opening, closing & providing the centrepiece for the LP. More ambitious than 'Fix Me', all 4 members provide vocals, resulting in some quirky & bombastic harmonies. They occasionally bite off more than they can chew, but this is ultimately a consistently satisfying album which does not forsake the band's trademark catchy melodies. Recommended Tracks: Cross My Heart, Acadia, Sing Sing & Celebrity Status.

This album is awesome. I only gave it a lower rating because I absolutely HATE Beside You and Good To You.
I've seen them live at Rexall Place. It was a really great show. They have a lot of talent and are a fun band to listen to.
