Good review. I can't say that I'm very fond with this band, honestly. I still need to check this one out, but I doubt I will like this one. Their clean vox guy annoys the hell out of me >_>

The album is not based on Annabel Lee... The band was inspired by Edgar Allen Poe during the writing of the story so they named the main character of their story Annabel as a tribute to him...
Also, since when is Alesana a metalcore band? Just the fact that you mis-classified them shows that you don't really know what you're talking about...
This is one of my favorite albums of the last year just for its sheer creativity! Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of screamo/post hardcore!
