love this album, hope they put out some more stuff in the future this is right up my alley.

I was reading an interview with Scott Kelly about this and he said this wouldn't be the last record they put out.

This album couldn't begin to impress me.

Stoner metal ain't your thing?

I'll give it a shot though, your review convinced me of that much.

It's worth a try. I know you said a while back that you enjoyed Neurosis, this is just more easy-going. If you want to just bob your head to some great riffs and lose your mind to some psychedelic passages, you might find this interesting.

is this an EP?? sounds good. will check it out

This is a full length. The songs are long but not too long. They range from six to nine and a half minutes each.

Thanks for the nice compliments everyone.

Overall the review was good, but I don't think I'd like this (stoner rock isn't really my thing).

I just read the review again and it feels kind of mediocre hahahaha. Try it out, its got some good groove to it.

You don't have to hahahahaha. I know you like Neurosis and all and this album does hint at Neurosis a touch in areas. Do you enjoy any of that 70s rock that uses alot of psychedelic vibe to wow its listeners? This, to me, is a heavier version of everything awesome that came from the 70s in terms of rock.

It's groove heavy but not thunderously heavy.

You know, I still don't know where to rate this album because in the beginning I think I was expecting a little too much from such a caliber of musicians playing on this album. However, the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. I instantly loved track 2 though.

Jam it really loud. It helps. Maybe smoke a jay and lay back.

Holy fuck, I just took my own advice. I would give "Pyramid of the Moon" 10 out of 5 stars if I could. People need to get on it!
