How this is rated significantly worse than all of their other albums I will never understand. This is easily one of the band's strongest albums.

Navarro really surprised me on this. I am not too familiar with his actual guitar work but it's quite amazing on this.
True, this might have some stupid/filler tracks but I'm liking more than any other Chili Pepper album as a whole right now.

funk masterpiece, frusciante is a genius
it also has a lot of nostalgic value to me, it's one of those albums that just really got me really horny for music

I actually never heard the whole thing until a year ago, when I found it at a pawn shop for a dollar. Best dollar I ever spent.
aksi agreed, Fruscante is what makes the band work. Flea is a brilliant bassist but I dont think he does much songwriting.
