I’ve come back to this album a few times now and I’ve finally come to the conclusion that basically Jared has nailed it on this review.

I sort of have mixed feelings about the album, in that it’s still good, but I’m disappointed in a way. It’s only a marginal step up from their debut ‘Get Stoked On It’ and after their more impressive ‘Won’t Be Pathetic Forever’ EP, I was expecting more. It thankfully still has some fun, energetic pop-punk sing-alongs, but it also has similar weaknesses to the debut (vocals, unoriginality, not enough memorable songs, etc…). ‘Hostels & Brothels’ is the highlight, with 'This Party Sucks' and 'Logan Circle' also being fun.

Album really depends on when in your life you hear it. And it appeals to more of a certain type of person.

Really disappointed this only got a 3.0. One of the best pop-punk albums of 2010.

Was prepared to hate this but it's surprisingly not bad. Does not sound like early saves the day - sounds exactly like early Starting Line.

You really are a pop-punk fan Adam.

Still don't get why this gets so much love tbh. It's good, but that's about it.

i found this to be quite average. it was fun for like a listen, but then wore off me. maybe i just don't have an ear for pop punk though.

Agreed. Though, this is true for pretty much every album.

I somehow only just discovered these guys at Warped this year. I can't believe they were on the same tiny stage as Simple Plan. They deserve so much more.

I've never been a huge pop-punk fan, but I love these guys to death. I'm not sure if it's just the lyrics or what, but something about them sets them miles apart from every other pop-punk band I've heard.

This is a pretty kickass album. It's one of the first ones I've connected with in a LONG time.
