awesome album, give it 5 stars, great review although im afraid i dont agree with what you said about Easily, its an awesome track and quite possibly my favourite chilis song ever

Im afraid i dont agree with you there, i think some of john's best stuff has been after he rejoined the band, i think the complex stuff he gets from incredibly simple playing is incredible and it is overall more mature and mellow.

Great album goes a bit downhill from track 7 though,but still the first 5 or 6 are excellent. Most of the songs in this album are either soft rock or have mainly bass tunes. Altogether a great album and the chilis rule!!!

dude, you missed out saviour, i really like easily, around he world, purple stain, actually i love all of the songs on this album except emmit remmus, kinda lets the side down a bit. The chili peppers are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are all seriously cool songs, porclain is alright but you can listen to it too much, excluding that song i can listen to listen album over and over again and not get bored.
i give the album 9.5/10 damn porclain and emmit remmus

this is not their best, but its up there. Get on Top and Emit Remmus are my fav. DID ANYONE READ SCAR TISSUE (ANTHONY KIEDIS' BIOGRAPHY)? its the best. i suggest you read it.

I heard of RHCP through 'By the Way' and 'The Zepher Song' but it was this album that got me hooked, with so many good songs, some of my favourates now being 'Around the World' 'Californication' 'Easily' and 'Road Trippin'

californiacation ended up being a pretty good album. the song californiacation was a great hit 4 the cd and was my fav. song.over all the red hot chilli peppers are a really good band and all their albums r really good.
