Awesome review. Yeah my opinion hasn't changed even after listening to it a shitload of times, it's just missing something. And the production is way too big considering the almost minimalist nature of the music. MTB on autopilot but that's still good.

Meh, if your looking into this record for them to continue their progression and spice things up I could see disappointment. to me this is just a fun record I can put on and thoroughly enjoy.

I really don't think it's that fun. It bores me at times.

Good review and fun to read. I think people are being way too hard on this album. It's probably one of their catchiest records yet and still has enough of a progressive edge to please me.

yeah, it's not mind-blowing like Planet of Ice but it's pretty awesome -- definitely my record of the summer. I'd still say it's in my top 5 for the year so far too.
