Yeah, the other band that fits the first paragraph for me is Thought Industry. I can't think of any more bands that broke up that I was pissed about.

Did you listen to all of Screams & Whispers? You should check out all of their albums, but my favorite one is Manic Impressions. Try "Paint a Picture" from that one.

Listened to all of Screams, and this, only so many hours in the day! But i'll definitely be getting around to their other works very soon

This is awesome. I'll be getting Vol 1 this weekend.

Even if you’re a fan from way back and are perfectly happy with the original recordings,

I was going to say, I have most of their original recordings on my computer (including this) and I was really happy with the production; needed some more beef if you get my drift. I will definitely be acquiring this. Love this band because of you Willie : ). Review brought a tear to my eye (first paragraph mainly). I can't tell you how many bands I know that I've felt this way about.

It's cool that you took the time to check out their entire discography. I just bought Vol. 1: Suffering Hour Revisited but I haven't heard it yet. That first paragraph came from the fact that this is the band that instantly comes to mind when I think of a band I wished would make new music (these guys and the original Thought Industry lineup).

New music from Thought Industry would make me instantly change my pants hahahaha. I actually like everything I've heard from this band.

Cool. Keep in mind that it's not new material, just the first two albums completely re-recorded with the original line up (but it's still worth getting because the sound is so much better - especially on the first album). I just recieved the actual 2-disc version in the mail today. That's worth getting too.
