Dude, I love Watercolour. Most of this album is pretty boss and the IF colab was a stroke of genius.
|
| |
Both of those represent probably the weakest moments of the album to me (aside from 'Encoder'), but each to their own and all that

Encoder is awesome too. Man, disappointing. Weakest to me would be Immunize, Set Me On Fire and The Island pt II

bro slips sometime. i grew up in the wesside after all
|

'Immunize' is okay I guess, 'Set Me On Fire' is interesting to say the least, its also a track I find myself coming back too a lot. And I enjoy 'dusk' for what it is, but there was HUGE potential for that track

Dusk was just boring man, same with Set Me On Fire. That song goes past without me even realising its playing.
|
| |
What made 'Set Me On Fire' so boring to you? I'm honestly just curious, not looking for a "i'm right, you're wrong" argument

I have no idea, I haven't been able to pay attention to it long enough to work out why.

Great review. As a huge In Flames fan, it is my duty to give that collab track a go hahahaha
|
| |
review is intense and in depth, I really like it. I'll check out the in flames one too out of curiosity.

good job on the feature
(PS: the In Flames collaboration track didn't impress me all that much)
|
| |
Well I should probably add this to the list too...
|

I just can't bring myself to listen to Pendulum after In Silico....it was just a fat slap in the face to whole dnb community.
|
| |
did you like the fat slap
|
| |
Pendulum suck ass
|
| |
I think the In Flames track wouldn't have come across so terribly had it been on an In Flames album. I'm honestly surprised how it turned out; I mean I wouldn't say its "heavy", but the level of guitarwork in it did surprise me
And cheers Contribs

I thought Watercolour was way too mainstream. When I heard that I thought they were just trying to get into the charts, it's a terrible song in my opinion. Is the rest of album like that, or is it still worth checking out?
|
| |
If you were ever a fan of the band I would check this album out. As I said earlier, 'Watercolour' represents one of the album's weakest moments
