Nice try on the review, unfortunately, i thought it was pretty average

1. that whole format shits me. it doesnt tell you anything about the greater scope of the album

2. you repeated your language. you make every song sound like the same song (genius lyrics, instruments good, half the songs depressing, half bssm.)

On the album...this is a great album. comparable to bssm, except that album kept the level up for 70 minutes rather than 45. porcelon is a good song.

*INTERESTING RHCP TIDBIT*

Did yoou know????----------->>>>the rhcp mention a girl named dani in bye the way. she's supposedly the character in this song, and on the upcoming stadium arcadium (*masturbates furiously*) theres a whole 'nother song devoted to her.

Great info on songs, and descriptions. This is a classic alblum for sure. You kind of jumped into it, but its fine, because you backed it up.

Brilliant album, though i like blood sugar sex magic more. I must say i definately agree with the other posters on savior, its one of my favourites, beautifully sung and written, easily deserves at least 4. Nice review anyway.

easily not fantastic in the music department? have u listened to the entire song. johnny boy has about 5 guitars overdubbed for the last min or so and they mesh together perfectly. not overly complicated but u dont need to play like slash to be a brilliant guitar player. thats the beauty or the guitar on this album.
savior, also one of the best songs on the album. johns backing vocals and that intro are amazing and fleas bass part compliments it all perfectly.

I don't really agree with you saying he's the best bassist since John Entwistle. I can pick up a Chillis song and play it in five minutes.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is talented and is definately a better bassist than me but if you need an exmaple of an amazing bassist, take a look at some stuff by Bill Dickens or even some Les Claypool stuff. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say Rocco Prestia. There's some amazing bass.

Ahh, the chilis return to form. John Frusciantes back and they're ready to take on the world again! This is a good album that retains the funkiness of their older stuff. A few filler songs on here but, as with by the way and BSSM, there are some breathtaking moments. Around the world, californication, scartissue, otherside and road trippin prove what an inspiration to music the chilis are.

Great album. Some songs like I Like Dirt just annoy me though. But when the songs are good, they are amazing. I like Parallel Universe and Easily the most on the album.
