I would say that the clash is more reggae/punk than classic because alot of their tracks were influenced by reggae

The "classic" part is the fact that its older. They had obvious influences of reggae, but their first couple albums only had a select few reggae songs, namely In Hammersmith palais and Polive & Thieves.<

Allen Ginsburg, the beat poet, does guest vocals in Ghetto Defendant and rapper/graffiti artist Futura 2000 does guest vocals on Overpowered by Funk.

I really like this album, Straight To Hell, Death Is A Star, Car Jamming & Sean Flynn are all such awesome songs.

Even penning London Calling does not forgive weak songs.

"They want to make it big, as is what should be the dream of every rock band"

exactly the reason why the clash suck

london calling is a classic album but unfortunately the clash have been tagged with the punk label even though they obviously understand very little about the true punk aesthetic.

the clash are the punk band that the mainstream welcomed into its arms.

to quote one of the purest punk bands ever . . .

If he goes there will be trouble and if he stays it will be double, then why doesn't he just go?

Is English the reviewer's second language? If so, you did an admirable job here. If not, although you obviously love music I am not sure you should be writing reviews.

Also, the "dark, somewhat creepy voice" in Ghetto Defendant? It belongs to Allen Ginsberg (Google it!). A quick look at the liner notes of the album should tell you as much.
