leak made my day. if you enjoyed either BTBAM's "Alaska" or "The Silent Circus" I can't see how you wouldn't enjoy this album. This is probably my 2nd favorite album this year behind Dillinger's.

I am probably about to commit a major musician faux pas and comment on this review. However, since there are so many questions about the release dates, I figured I owed it to those who are interested as well as to Adam so no one thinks he supplied you with incorrect information.

We were pushing really hard to get the album out by the end of July and had planned on July 27th being the release date all along. We had a few snags along the way (artwork, guest vocals, pre-order date lead times etc.) that put the date in jeopardy but we thought we could keep the date from slipping regardless so that is the date we supplied with the album to reviewers. Unfortunately it was confirmed this week that was not the case and the album is being officially released August 10th with pre-orders starting this week instead of the actual album sales this week. This also gives the label a little time to promote now before it is actually released as well.

Sorry for any confusion and for the delay; there should be an official press release from Tragic Hero soon on actual pre-order details etc. For now, based on the comments/reviews, it looks like there are some leaks out there. Feel free to check those out and hopefully you will enjoy the record enough to pick up your own copy August 10th. Thanks again to Adam for an awesome review.

Hilarious that he posted here HA. Even better that he didn't care crestacious posted a link. But I totally agree Coleba. I found the EP via sputnik and was happy to see this review. Especially since it had a leak link. Great album. Like ^ said. Will be buying.

Josh you may NOT listen to this. Once an album based on The Age of Reason comes out you can listen to that.

Album is so good that if it were a character Tom Hanks would play it in a movie.

This isn't as awesome as I hoped it would be. I spend my life trying to find another TSC, but WHY?? Album is still good though.

Their drummer must love that little splash cymbal. It sounds oddly fitting, though. I like it.

Little too much hype here... I didn't want to keep listening to it as a whole. Select tracks are excellent.

So this is a pretty huge step up for the band. The album is fairly immense. Sometimes it feels a bit like they lost in the technical stuff though, like it's more of an exercise than a song, whereas the EP songs seemed to flow. Regardless, this is an achievement and should be checked out.

The intro/outro riff in "Let Sleeping Worms Lie" is total sickness.

It's damn good, but that's because aside from Counterparts and Hundredth metalcore has sucked balls this year.
