Maybe the lyrics turned some people away? They're blatantly Christian; not that there's a problem with that, but there's a lot of ignorance on both sides of the issue. I like how the band does a bit more with their guitar work, especially the Botch sounding parts.

Maybe, but I think the main problem is that it probably needed 1 catchy hit to take off. It's always the risk when maturing like they did here. Unfortunately, many will still associate the band as "catchy pop-punkers" which is of course narrow-minded.

This is really good.

Reminds me a bit of early Anberlin. It's catchy and fun, but I didn't really get too heavily into it.

I like how it has a bit more bite than Anberlin does. I really like his voice too. It borders right on the edge of being whiny but never crosses.

I can agree with the last bit, but I don't know if I feel like they have more 'bite' than Anberlin. I would associate something like that with the vocals, and I think the bigger difference is that they're a bit more upbeat and faster tempo than Anberlin is in my mind.

I find them a tad more digestible, which is better when you don't feel like putting too much effort into listening.
When I listen to fin* or Misearbile Visu it feels like I need to give something to get something. This is much more immediate.

Couldn't stand their debut, but I remember this being pretty good, need to relisten

^That's one of my average tracks from that album. I think Bravery might be my favorite.
