This is so unintentionally hilarious that it almost deserves a 1.5... almost.

I just want to point out that after suffering through the 3 minute 12 second video of My Own Life, youtube suggested I listen to Backstreet Boys - I want it that way.

Well played, youtube, well played.

Their previous albums weren't too shabby, for its genre, but this one is disgusting. Scar Symmetry is at least listenable.

This album was a huge disappointment, even for me who loved all their previous albums. Though we can blame it on the fact that unlike the old albums, where there were just two guys writing, now, everyone was writing.

Not all was bad, though. The bonus track Heart of Eve was pretty enjoyable to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr1qPCgpL4A
Hopefully, that's what we'll get more of in the next album.

Still, I must say, this is a pretty childish review.
And Richard Sjunnesson is definetly not the worst screamer out there.

I actually laugh at this Atreyu clone mess of a band.

Reminds me of Rob Zombie actually.

If you have to emulate Atreyu, you're probably doing something wrong.

I don't think the first half of the album is that bad, i mean , it's sonic syndicate , talking aboust death metal is pointless , they have almost nothing to do with that anymore in my opinion , they're not really different from Atreyu , they do bland commercial emo-rock and they don't do it that bad , some songs are decent and catchy.

no i don't , I'm just saying that it's too easy to destroy them like that , they are a sellout emo band doing commercial stuff and there are bands that do this kind of shit even worse , two or three songs in the first half of the cd are actually decent pop-rock songs , that's just my opinion , having said that , it's obvious even looking at my rating that this album it's not any good , I'm trying to be objective and consider who they are.

This is EVERYTHING that is wrong with music.
ARGH.
Can't express what i'm thinking.
Involves shit head young teens thinking they like metal though, something along those lines.
