I listened to all of the album, there were a few good songs like "Burn This City" even that song got annnoying after a while. Also the screaming is just awful, it sounds like a dying baby.

I listened to "Revolution, baby". Omg, what crap. Also, these fuckers look like some fucking emo scenesters and not death metallists. How dare they even call themselves such? BTW, it's pretty funny that that emo faggot who can't scream Richard Sjunesson has actually left them recently. I thought that this nu-core faggotry suited him just fine, while it apparently didn't sit well with him at all. Haha xD
Also, I think I'ma give this album a 1.

XD oh god, THIS album...
I listened to a few tracks a while back. All i can remember about them is thinking that it sounded like what might happen if Killswitch Engage went glam.

@ Keltar
How the fuck can you even mention Scar Symmetry and Sonic Syndicate in a single sentence? I know that their last album wasn't that good, but damn, they're still in another league.

Holy christ, the vocals make it seem like a pop album.

lmao...Gothenburg? They're cringing right now...literally burning the city that is good music because their version of it is horrible. Sounds like way too much metalcore in here.

Curiosity made me check this out. I'm still washing my ears out as I type this. Jesus H Christ. Words alone can't damn this album and even this band enough. Fucking hell.....

Haha this album is definitely fun to bash. I hope those guys are making the most out of their pathetic career. In like 10 years they'll already be too old and jaded to pose as emo teens, and all their cash will also be gone, stolen by Nuclear Blast ;)

Why do people keep calling this band melodic death metal? They are as far away from melodeath as you can get. They are metalcore. Anyway, this album is dreadful.

They call them melodic death metal cuz of Eden Fire. Every thing after that was metalcore, but WRTN is pop-metal.

Listened to a couple of tracks from this album on You Tube and I'm sick of it already. Might check out that 'Only Inhuman' album, though.

I think the problem with Sonic Syndicate is that they are basically the money maker for Nuclear Blast. A label that was otherwise
known for being pretty fucking metal, held a contest for a new band, which Sonic Syndicate won. Then (according to Richard at
least), molded them into what they are today, a pop-y money-suck loved by the mainstream enthusiasts that insist they are
'metal'.
I think, despite what we see, that they actually CAN play their instruments as shown on Eden Fire (Hell, some of the songs
actually have guitar solos *gasp!*). But they've gotten far too comfortable with being the popular kids and making a decent
chunk of change, so they feel no need to bother trying anything different.
This new album is the amalgamation of that thought process, into a bland, unremarkable exercise in Sonic Syndicate's sound
(although a couple of the bonus tracks were decent.)
The new lead singer isn't even that bad. He sounds like a combination of David Fremberg of Andromeda and Howard Jones of
Killswitch. He's got a great range, but yeah, he's definitely very poppy.
Basically, I think they could be good, they just choose to stick to this mainstream sound they've gotten far too comfortable
with. Apparently Richard had enough of it and left the band.
tl;dr: Album sucks, Band is a disappointment.

This isn't melodic death metal. It's metalcore. But they suck anyway.
