Giving it a 4 based off of my first listen. I really, REALLY enjoyed it. Honestly, this is kinda what i would've expected from a Serj solo album. Elect The Dead just seemed like a more vocal-centric System Of A Down album. I love the variety on this album, and yet, i STILL feel like there's room for improvement. Hopefully we'll see that on his next solo album. Or hell, maybe some of these elements will bleed into the inevitable SOAD album after they reunite. (which REALLY needs to happen, btw)

System do still need to reunite, but I am enjoying this immensely. Gotta give it one more listen but this is definitely between a 3.5 and a 4 for me. I'm enjoying it just as much as I enjoyed Elect The Dead three years ago when I first heard it, if not more so

yeah, i was slightly wary of it, mostly because of the way Serj was describing it, was convinced the experimentation wouldn't work. Should never have doubted him.

True, but in my experience albums like these normally hit you hard at the beginning and get blander as time goes on. Still, maybe this is an exception.

i can see why people don't like beatus, but i don't think it is the weakest track. i'd rank both reconstructive demonstrations and electron as weaker, followed by beatus
