i love this review's comparison to The Field. it seems to contain so many similar sounds, but while From Here We Go To Sublime sounds claustrophobic and cluttered, this album really seems to expand and open up.

digging this a lot.

I wouldn't call From Here We Go Sublime claustrophobic at all; I still like that album more than this. This is, however, more warm.

I mean The Field uses really warm sounds, but the way he cuts them up and loops them I find it to be claustrophobic in a textural way(a good way)

as opposed to this, which just opens up and is light and airy

Listening to this right now and I'm very impressed. This has been the best year for electronica in recent memory.

I love You, Snow & Taxis, and Vanilla Minus, but I can't get the other tracks to grow on me really. Can't decide between a 3 and 3.5 for this one.. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
