A large portion of the soundtrack was iconic and very easy to listen to and understand, but personally I perfer Majora's Mask OST for it's mishapen/perculiar character, though Ocarina Of Time's OST is more then commonly favoured. I’ve never played the game and I listened to this only because it was fuckin number 2 on SputnikMusic.
Maybe it is a good soundtrack but, without the game, it sounds like a shitty album. If I had to rate the soundtrack, I just wouldn’t rate it because I didn’t played the game and I don’t know how it sounds when we have all theses sounds put together in loop. Because we are rating albums, this is my rating.

I never owned a N64 and my friends didn't have this game back then so I never got to play it. And if I catch up on it now it's probably not going to be as good since that is how it works with every game, so I won't.

There are some real classics on here (like "Temple of Time", the major dungeon themes including the Deku Tree and cavern, and the final battle theme), but I have to admit that the town themes and mini game tracks do nothing for me.
