Good review.
My favourite Opeth album. Demon of the Fall, When, April Ethereal....so many classics here. Even if this is not their most technical album, it is the one with the greatest depth, at least to my ears.

They're not bad, just overrated by some. They're actually pretty great as far as shit that gets played on the radio, but people hear them and think they're the end-all-be-all of music without actually digging deeper into metal and stuff.

Then fill me in, besides you thinking I'm a fan boy who's invading this site what other point are you making? I've listened to plenty of different kinds of music and Metal and love a variety of different bands, just because I'm defending a band I like how does that make me a fan-boy? It's not as if I only like Opeth and hate all other bands, I love many, hell would you call me a Death fanboy if I said the same thing on a Death album forum? I guess from my name? Fair enough I just threw it together randomly, if my name didn't have Opeth in it you wouldnt've said fanboys are taking over the site.
