To be honest, I like this better than The Mantle already. Doesn't drag on whereas The Mantle seems to drag at some points.

I'm far from a fanboy of agalloch. I just find it funny there is a negative reaction to this that screams "Keep black metal out of my agalloch!"

I find it bullshit to say that this albums lacks cohesion compared to the Mantle just b/c the Mantle had a few similar melodies. If you knew anything about that album you would know the Mantle is all over the place.
