@Larkin Np dude

Yeah the combined EPs is what was planned for the initial "3rd LP", but they're so stylistically different/written & recorded at different periods they said fuck it and made two EPs instead. Combined it's easily the best thing they ever did imo

DUDE, I HAVE TO CHECK OUT THIS TRACKLIST NOW

Edit: I'm checking it out, but so far I think it's frontloaded with too many dub grooves. I think this sort of feel should be spread out instead of concentrated.

"Black Nurse" is perfect as the opening and also segues perfectly into "Gold". "Vanilla Poltergeist.." is also connected to "Gold" so it's very hard to separate the three. I understand is front loaded with the dub stuff but I am never bothered by that. It's actually not my track list and I have tried to change it ever since I found it on a Glassjaw forum, but it just never worked for me any other way. Now I can't listen to any of these EP's unless it's on this order lol

black nurse is an amazing song but ive never felt a ton of allegiance to keeping it as the opener whenever i tried to mix the two. granted this is coming from someone who at this point in my life will just jam the eps as they are tho since theyre so different from each other in tone

also gold/vanilla are particularly hard to separate but the abrupt ending of black nurse doesnt necessarily doom it to needing to be placed w those tracks. ive had success following it up w junkies

"ive had success following it up w junkies"

I just tried that and you are right it does sound very good. I'll move around the first 5 songs just for fun this time. Second half of that tracklist flows perfect for me, though.

1. Black Nurse

2. All Good Junkies Go to Heaven

3. Jesus Glue

4. Gold

5. Vanilla Poltergeist Snake

Farmer is probs second best here, would be able to understand Junkies at the bottom of the pack if Stars didn't exist though. This EP is basically John Lennon + 3 other pretty kewl tracks to me at this point
