I always put on Papercut remixed when I play Gran Turismo 3 and 4. Christ, man, it's made for those games! Don't tell me you can't imagine cars and the remix together!

Bought this album a long time ago. Most of the stuff on here did not appeal to me, especially some of the guest appearances. Like the Motion Man remix. I thought it was horrible! I could at least say that I enjoyed the Forgotten remix for the most part. It had a "phat" beat, but what killed it was the chorus.

meh...
Anyways, I didn't listen to the album, nor do I plan to listen to it. I don't like Linkin Park at all.
Review is good.

Papercut remix is bretty b.a too despite Shinoda being a terrible rapper, the beats are pretty cool. Crawling is pretty epic with the cello intro. In fact, i'm digging this out again. This was pretty good.

Reanimation is by far the best remix album I've ever heard...so far.
This album is a nice glimpse of what these guys could achieve if they didn't care about sales. They are surely talented when they work solo, but for some reason while on that band they sabotage themselves for whatever reason.
I disagree with many things you've said on your review to be honest. For example, "Krwling" has one hell of an instrumental but it's ruined completely by the vocals, specially Aaron Lewis' vocal parts. The "In The End" remix, musically is kind of retarded, I agree... however, the twist given to the lyrics is interesting and rather fresh to the whole concept of the album. The remix is obviously a reply to the original lyrics of "In The End", not that they'll make the song better, but still. It's one of the songs I enjoy the most in that album.
All in all, Ocelot's review seems a bit biased to me. You're obviously a Linkin Park fan, which is ok. But as an album, Reanimation is way better than Hybrid Theory, both, musically and lyrically. It's a whole different experience to listen to that album in 5.1 also.

The Grey Album and Rainydayz Remixes both pwn this.
The Grey Album is a mashup album. Remixes and Mashups are different things.
And I think Amplive's remixes, if i'm not mistaken, are just random remixes, not a whole remix album, right?. A compilation of his remixes wouldn't be enough, it'd still be different.

About Ocelot's review, how can you put X-Ecutioner's Style as a Con on the album, it's just an interlude.
