This is better than In Rainbows and Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief.

"This album sounds comfortable, which is the exact opposite of why I want to listen to Radiohead." Someone is finally starting to catch on.

w/r/t couldwin's soundoff (and i guess "five explanation")

"They make it human. The cold mechanical tenacity of bygone days is replaced by a comfort, inspiration

and hope. Not that “King of Limbs” doesn’t try to hide the fact that there is evil in the world but it

comes to the conclusion that “Two wrongs don’t make a right”…and this is so right."

this describes in rainbows exactly...in rainbows was definitely a warm human album whereas this is a

return to more amnesiac/httt stuff...idk bro

The review points out that HttT and Amnesiac are Radiohead's weakest albums and this always astounds me considering those two are my favorite, with Amnesiac being my all-time favorite from their catalog.

The claims of "this is better than Amnesiac" excite me.

The claims of "this is like Hail to the Thief" scare me...

@robby I disagree, In Rainbows is just as drenched in spite and sarcasm as Kid a or Amnesiac, It is just more intimate and more "chill". The meaning is relatively the same but this I find is almost comforting. Where electronics have always been used by Radiohead to alienate the listener here they seem to be more comforting and playful.

It is kinda like Hail to the Thief. Like the songs Backdrifts and myxomatosis and shit.

It's not even 24 hours since the release, i refuse to even read this crack of shit, specially if it has 3.5 as rating.

wow, sputnikmusic, way to discredit yourself in a single day.... was it really that important to be the *first* site to review the album? how can anyone possibly judge an album within the first week, much less the first day? ri-goddamn-diculous....

(btw, this has nothing to do with the rating itself, which i somewhat agree with--for now)
