didnt fully see the hype behind this one. its definitely unique and has some beautiful passages, but it was over-long and inconsistent. this "loungey aphex twin" style of electronic is probably one of my least fave sub-genres, but despite that i found a lot to like in this - just not enough to make me want to keep listening to it (as a whole)

That was my problem for a while. Its slower sections grow on you though, so keep revisiting.

Some of the most beautiful and rich textures in IDM/Ambient. I like how the optimistic feel of this album contrasts with a lot of the more lonesome or foreboding feel of other albums in it's vein.
It's not the most unique but it still stands out with its polish.
