"It truly has captured the sound of thrash without imitating it. I can't even place my finger on what exactly it is about the music that Sylosis are doing different to
other bands, it just really does sound rather unique."

True, I can't get into old school thrash but I can get into this, despite them being similar

Very impressive album, such great songwriters and very unique although I'm inclined to agree that the album IS WAY too long!

Awesome album.

One of the best Thrash albums of all time, I was really impressed with this, it's better than every Metallica album (with the exception of Ride The Lightning)

Not a joke.

If this album came out in the 80's you would rate it a 5.

And if Master Of Puppets came out yesterday, you'd rate it a 4

Just because an album is old it doesn't mean it's better than all modern music.

Why do people have to trash other genres? i like all kinds of metal as well as punk and all kinds of other stuff. Sylosis really impressed me with this one. Much better than the previous. these guys are gonna be around for a long time. Get a life and trash something worth trashing. There is nothing wrong with this album. Trips me out with bands like otep that have a huge following and have never produced anything worth wasting money on. otep sounds like tna wrestling. like the female version of macho man randy savage. oh yeah! so burn something like that, but leave sylosis out of it. THESE DUDES ROCK

I've been slacking with 2011 albums compared to the last few years but this is probably my favorite release of the year thus far. Just a blast to listen to.

This is so good. Definitely one of my favorites. Favorite songs? I'm going with awakening and apparitions, but they're all good.

I'm pretty new myself, but do 90% of the new users on this site have a massive first comment that states nothing?

Youtube comments are some of the funniest things to read through though. So many stupid people in one place

Edit: Apparently whoever I was talking to got their comments deleted. Nice

Had to bump. Enjoy this a lot more than Conclusion of an Age. This one, while not exactly the most original album either, doesn't reek of standard -core influences.

Very good album. I prefer the first album, and its not even close really, but I'm not sure why. Vocals maybe, the guitarist does a great job, but I really miss their old singer. It's also noticeably slower. Maybe it'll come to me with a few more listens.

First album was way better. I'd say this one is ok, but nothing to clim up the curtains.

First vocalist was way better too
