Thanks Adam. Hopefully, our reviews work well in tandem. I'm sure you'll hate the Summary I'm eventually going to go with though.

This is too heavy for you Rosco. Go back to Scouting For Girls. ;-)

By the way Davey, there is some formatting weirdness at the end of the fourth paragraph. I think you may have accidentally pressed enter one too many times as the last sentence is broken into two.

Very good review though.

Why change the summary? I almost chuckled.

I'm really liking the opening track, what remains to be seen is if the melodic ones retain my interest.

Thanks x2 Rosco. I'll go & un-enter.

HBFS, because "almost" is not good enough for me.

Hopefully they will Acanthus. The best of them (tracks 5 & 6) at least should.

So far the recommended tracks are all impressive, might have to get this if it sticks with me.

Never heard this band before. What album should I start with? 'In Shallow Seas we Sail' has the highest average rating, is that their best?

Woohoo, someone who reads my Recommended Tracks for reasons other than to say my tastes suck. Oh & if you like the opener, you'll like 'Scissors' as well. It was probably equal 4th best for me, but I thought I'd throw in the lighter track for the sake of variety.

I'm the wrong person to ask defjaw, since I 5'd that album & it was my album of 2009. But if you're asking me, I'd say "yes".

theacademy, please read comment #1.

Thanks CrimsonChin. Does that mean you didn't like those songs OR just that they were placed together at the end?

"You Wanted It" is insanely catchy, even though I enjoy the heaviness of the opener I'm positive that this will be the one running through my head when I'm in class today.

I will say that my dislike of slower songs has already disadvantaged "I Never Got To See The West Coast" but that's going to kill the album for me imo.

Edit: "Scissors" is beastly.

Cheval Glass is dope as hell. Just wish there were more melodies, but, then i guess it would just sound like In Shallow Seas, so maybe it being different is really for the best.

Generic chug's definitely take this from a 4 to a 3.5, saying that, some of the melodic sections are amazing.
