I thought echoes was as good as Colour and the shape. This ranks right up there with both of them.

His vocals sound a lot like Nick Oliveri in Millionaire or something.
This x100. This album rips shit up, it's definitely the best since TCATS. Bridge Burning is probably the best opener they've written IMO

They've always had amazing openers... This Is A Call, Doll/Monkey Wrench, Stacked Actors, All My Life, In Your Honor, The Pretender...

Well the general consensus for this is 3.5 to 4.5 so I suppose you'd fall somewhere around there. It's definitely more reminiscent of their earlier albums so you'll almost certainly like it more than Echoes.

...that's a good thing though, imo at least. With the exception of The Pretender that album was rather poor.
Edit: @Ali yeah cool stuff, thanks, man.

Cant believe a mainstream rock album is holding a 4.2 rating on Sputnik.
|
| |
^A miracle! But it's nice to see people judging an album for what it's worth rather than looking down at it with spite because it's mainstream.

It's going to be around 3.7-3.9 in a few weeks, I'm guessing.

The chorus to "These Days" is classic Foo. one of the album's strong points is how great every chorus is.
