Hmm, I guess you could say their new material is more complex than their old album. But the electronics have largely vanished, along with their originality. There's no Everyday, Weeping Walls or Passengers. They just sound like your average indie/alt band, which is unfortunate as I really dig their first album. 'Home' was a decent song though.

Thanks man! You should check these guys out!
Dammit. Sleep Parade's electronic influences were their best element. Weeping Walls is one of my favourite songs of all
time. I'll still give their album a good run through when they finally release it.

the rhythm section rules hard, might take a few more spins to get used to the vocals fully though, not doing a whole lot for me so far

This got nominated for an ARIA award. Along with Coerce.
I'm not sure who i want to win more haha. But still, great to see this getting some recognition.

Ahhh.. the vocals are so refreshing
From what I've heard this band is amazing, need to listen to the rest of the album

Found this thanks to your 2011 list, Vooligan. As a displaced Aussie living in Utah, I often find that I'm late to the party, but at least I got there eventually on this one.....
Great album. Definitely a grower, but I find those kind of albums tend to be more enduring.
Also, had to add Scarymother to the sputnik database when I saw this.
