I’d have s/t and color just under this lol though I do enjoy the s/t immensely. I read recently foos have completed work on their new album, but I don’t have much hope these days.

This is really boring besides like 3 songs: Rope, White Limo, and Miss the Misery

Hard disagree. This is one of their best. Foos definitely have quite a few boring albums (Concrete and Gold, One by One, Echoes Silence etc) but this is not one of them. This and Colour are their most exciting/energetic albums.

I find most of Colour bland too, aside the singles. Maybe these guys just aren't an album band for me

Yeah I’m a casual fan for sure. Most of their albums have a handful of great songs and some dull ones. But The Colour, Wasting Light abd There’s Nothing Left to Lose are good. S/t and Sonic Highways are pretty solid too. The rest are mediocre with some great songs/singles.

Dear Rosemary really grew on me but still can't get into the rest

Easily the best Foo ALBUM. They have other albums with good singles but this one as a whole IMO is the best output they had.

P.s. They still are mediocre rock band...

Really don't get why everyone treats this like this is the only good album the Foos have made this century and it's some kind of miracle, like it has some really cool elements but the songs kind of bleed together and I never feel listening to any of them, and overall it's not that much better than any of their other albums. The only song I come back to is Better Off and that's just because of how groovy it is

Maybe it’s because this is their best modern album by a country mile, surrounded by watered down dross.

Revisiting this album in the last two days, it is probably their second best album.
