Thanks for the comments, guys, and the helpful criticisms.
Daniel, that was meant to be an indication of the song's style.

I like when the review talks more about the concept of the album and the background behind it instead of just the songs, this was really well done, pos.

Yeah, same, but those synth chords in the chorus strike me as being very dated and cheesy.

Heh Dev, I guess you're right..but the best electropop shouldn't draw attention to its cheesi imo

haha. this album never had a chance here. I'm not saying it's good; i haven't heard it; but by it merely being a pop album, we knew before the ship set sail that this was going down in flames.

While I won't deny that there are Sputnik users that immediately dismiss pop as trash, I don't think it's fair to say that this album was doomed on arrival.
Let's also remember that average user ratings are absolutely meaningless.
And thanks, Yeti : )

I wouldn't say that it draws an over abundant amount of attention to itself, no more than any other artist in the genre (be they more radio based or rooted in more club circles). It's just one of those tracks that kinda ends up as a guilty pleasure, but in the loosest possible fashion. By the end of it you're just like "oh man that was so bad, I love it". Candy pop to get lost in
