Haven't heard the new one, but this is their best album. It just grabs you and doesn't let go

"We have been touring around the world for nearly 20 years and believe it or not, never have we encountered such old fashioned retardation," he said in a statement to AFP.

Singaporeans are very very nationalistic. I remember a guy on YouTube made a video mocking some Asian guy from there and he was fucking flooded with comments from angry Singaporeans like thousands of them lmao. They were fucking vicious like kill your fucking self dumb american! and other such things. Thousands of them all together defending Singapore.

I don't think it's cheesy, the title track Lawless Darkness, is a great instrumental. I think many trash the band for ''selling out'' but I think many times with these BM bands who start out raw and true or whatever, they think to themselves ''Hey we're selling pretty well, we should take this more seriously and make it our career'' and there's nothing wrong with that because it's better than working some shit restaurant job for money.

to me selling out means compromising the music for money and mass appeal and Waitain has never done this, their last album was by no means accessible to most people.

You know an album is not just standard when McCoy is featured as a guest. Man, nerdy black metallers really hate the spotlight.

Wow I did not know this band was so hated here lol. Had a good laugh reading the comments. Now about the music itself I would not call this bad, it's just uninspired recycled ideas from bands such as Dissection, Necrophobic and Mayhem. But the playing is energic and tight. The only album I really like by them is Casus Luciferi.
