Looking to capitalize on the momentum gained from his Grammy award winning EP that was released just 8 months earlier, Sonny 'Skrillex' Moore returns with 'More Monsters and Sprites'. While it's predecessor already contained 3 versions of the tune 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites', this 7 track release unnecessarily adds 4 more! And while there is variety amongst the remixes, the results are (pardon the pun) mixed. Even 1 of the 2 new tracks ('Ruffneck') gets 2 versions here, meaning it's difficult not to judge this EP as a fun, but extremely bloated, record that is a cash-in first & foremost. Recommended Tracks: Ruffneck (FULL Flex) & First of the Year (Equinox).
