"Yeah this is awesome because of the scope of the project as a whole. No individual EP is a masterpiece for me but taken as one enormous collection, and the journey through the colours... that's when it becomes truly special. If somebody could only listen to one "album" for their entire life, this would be the one I'd suggest to them."

agreed hard. this band was one of my first findings here in sputnik, and I haven't encountered anything like this project since. had lots of fun figuring out casey's interpretation of the colors

black - experimental rock with some industrial
red - hard rock with a bit of prog
orange - 70's rock sound
yellow- 60's rock/pop sound
green - alt rock with a bit of folk
blue - soft alt rock
indigo - electronic experimental music
violet - casey is always on violet mode with the dear hunter lol
white - alt rock with a little bit of prog

marks a huge influence for me and my current musical preferences

I knew you'd be coming back to me, I never thought that you'd have the courage to ever leave, and you.....are better off.....sticking right where you are

I thought the real artwork for the complete collection was this one

But isn't Sputnik supposed to use the original art for each album?

Hey just a heads up: this is available for purchase again on CD from the triple crown records website! Definitely worth it in my opinion!

I would order this on CD had they separated them by EP instead of clumping colors together.

Imo they flow perfectly as Black-Red-Orange, Yellow-Green-Blue, -Indigo-Violet-White

Even when I jam them on my iPod I'll often think of the them as three seperate albums and go "I'm gonna listen to Black-Red-Orange or whatever.

Idk works for me
