Def Indigo then either White or Yellow depending on my mood. I love that you like that one the most! It's just so bright and fun and those hooks are amazing. Such a fun ep to just sing along to.

They're all so close to me, but if I really wanted to rank them It'd be: Violet > Green > Indigo > Yellow > White > Blue > Orange > Black > Red

Thanks again Sowing for the review of Color Spectrum. It made me listen to these guys. I love them, I bought the entire collection and I hope I'll find at a reasonable price the DVD too.

That acoustic house tour on the complete collection is probably my most played DVD period. So damn good. Wish the live didnt cost so much ):

I love how the bridge of Deny It All just becomes an MO song with no hints of dear hunter at all haha. Relistening to the entire thing today, definitely have enough time to revisit it start to finish now...

Black, Violet, Red and Indigo are the top 4 EP’s almost ten years later, but what a fucking excellent compilation. Wonder if they will release a 10yr vinyl package?

Yellow >= Violet = Indigo = White > Blue

I’m new to these guys and have only listened to Act I — which I liked, but didn’t love it. I randomly decided to listen to the Black EP this morning and fucking LOVED IT. I’m a stickler for checking band’s discogs in chron order so I’ll be listening to Acts II and III before I move on to this, but I’m just curious:

Which EPs do people consider to be the best and “least best” here?

And what the hell have these guys been up to (or I guess really, what has Casey been up to)? They’ve been quite, been a bit since the last album.

@lark I would say it differs from person to person, as every EP is significantly different. I think most would say Violet, Indigo, and White are best. I enjoy Green the most for its wonderful folk aesthetic, really good shit.

Surprised it's taken you this long Larkin. Their best albums are Act IV and V. They haven't done anything for a while but are releasing the first part of their new multi-album series called Indigo Child later this year.

Quizzed my girlfriend on this, gave her a single song from each color and had her guess which was which color. She went 7/9. Pretty impressive stuff and only mixed up indigo and violet.

I keep forgetting how phenomenal Violet is on this. Mr. Malum starts it off HARD.

This is such an incredible collection of songs. Its hard to think of any other band releasing 35+ songs in a single release and having almost zero filler
