This band fucking sucks [2]
Good review though.

I can't believe ya'll are hating on the plan....fucking disgraces.
|
| |
That hotch-potch of guest vocals would turn even the most idiotic of listeners away. Seriously, I hate every singer/band mentioned in this review.
Good review though!

Godly summary.
Why would anyone name there album something so stupid?
|
| |
lol this band still exists?
|
| |

Album Rating: 3.0
The last sentence should be ''their least catchy, distinct or memorable.'' if I'm correct.

"The second 'of' is redundant/wrong."
Ta Adam. I'd prefer ot to be redundant as I'm never wrong. ;-P
"Great review DaveyBoy. Would you say this is the Plan's best album yet?
Thanks Irving. Umm, it's their worst imo.
"Cover looks a lot like the new Steel Train cover."
You know, I was trying to place it & that is spot on. Jack should sue them.
"I think they sing the modern scooby doo theme song"
Yeah, they did a song for the movie, so that would probably be it.

LG has arrived with his 5. Now that was a Simple Plan like rhyme tight there.
"Seriously, I hate every singer/band mentioned in this review"
I like early Gaskarth & early Cuomo. Emphasis on the EARLY in both cases.
"Godly summary. Why would anyone name there album something so stupid?"
Thanks, was hoping the summary wasn't too punny. As for the album title, it's a throwback to their early stuff. It doesn't really fit with their current selves though.
"The last sentence should be ''their least catchy, distinct or memorable.'' if I'm correct."
I was actually gonna check this out with others before I posted the review. Anyone got any thoughts.

Songs which were filled with rawness and sincerity, of which this track could use more
of.
Should be "both of which" or just "which." Otherwise the "ofs" pair up oddly.
I suppose hotch-potch is okay. I've never seen it as anything but hodgepodge, but I googled it
myself after pointing it out and it's almost always recursively defined as hodgepodge or a kind of
soup. So I s'pose it works.
Still, good review. I'm just being a little nitpicky I s'pose.
EDIT: Just read Adam's comment. I suppose it's all just a dialectal variation, but I don't agree
with having two "ofs" without a "both of which."

Album Rating: 3.0
Because that way it reads like ''least catchy, least indistinct and least forgettable''.

Album Rating: 1.5
"Umm, it's their worst imo."
Really? Worse than their s/t?

fuck mannn...this is bad

Would you say this is the Plan's best album yet?
WTF I meant to type "worst" LOL. But no matter XD
|
| |
lol this is their worst and CK gives it a 2
"This is getting my lowest rating ever - 7 thumbs up."

Album Rating: 2.0
Ok, I got rid of that 2nd "of" as I think Adam is correct. I don't think the "both" is necessary as it's pretty much implied.
On the final sentence, I threw it up for discussion in the staff forum and while it's not perfect, most (so far) prefer it to remain as is. There is just something not right about leaving the word "memorable" one out.
I told you SS. And you've been a fan in the past.
Irving, I think it's their worst, but I didn't mind their early stuff. So there may be a few who don't think so.
A 1 to me means it is unlistenable, which this definitely is not. Plus, I like 3 or 4 of the tracks, so it rises above a 1.5 also. Just remember DavID, you liked 'When You're Gone'.
|
| |
I just had to Wiki When You're Gone. There's a Bryan Adams song and an Avril song with that name. The Bryan Adams one rules, it's got Mel C in it. BABY WHEN YOU'RE GOOOONE.
|
| |
That song has to go down in history as one of the worst duets of all time. Maybe second to that MJ/McCartney number. *shudder*

Which one, The Girl is Mine or Say Say Say? I love both.
